For the Leipzig Auto Show in Germany (starting on June 2), Volkswagen will be showcasing four relatively new models.
Scirocco GTS: It has been 30 long years since the first Scirocco GTS
rolled off the production lines and to commemorate this occasion, VW is
bringing in the new GTS complete with coloured stripes on its roof,
bonnet and tailgate, akin to the original racing car. The new GTS will
have a 210PS 2.0-litre engine under the hood with a dimpled golf-ball
gear lever knob. The car will ride on black 18-inch alloys with red
brake callipers. VW are also using the Scirocco R’s diffuser and roof-edge spoiler and unique to the GTS will be new front and rear bumpers along with exposed side sills.
Beetle Fender: VW first used the world renowned Fender music system in the new Jetta and now the new Beetle
will use this. To celebrate this, Volkswagen has created a special
edition Beetle Fender. Akin to Fender’s guitars, the dashboard will
have two-tone Sunburst wood and a Fender logo. This is apart from the
10-channel amplifier and 400 watts of Fender music system. Customers
will also get three limited edition guitar picks made by Fender.
CC R Line: The CC will have a new R Line edition with 17-inch alloy
wheels , bespoke front bumper with chrome elements around the fog lamps.
There will also be R Line branded door sill protectors and the
interiors will also have R Line logos.
CrossPolo Urban White: This will be the road-going Polo
with raised ride height, chunky bumpers and roof rails. Already sold in
Europe, this CrossPolo Urban White will come with a new ‘Oryx white’
paint job, tinted rear windows, black door mirrors and 17-inch alloy
wheels.
