Gasoline vs Diesel - Explained


What is the difference between gasoline and diesel engines? The difference between the gasoline (Otto) cycle and the Diesel engine cycle. A look at thermodynamics and how these cycles are different. The main difference is the fuel injection stage, as this occurs after compression in Diesel engines.
